Privacy

Short version: we hold as little as possible, and you can delete all of it yourself.

What we store

• If you sign in: your name, profile picture and the account id given to us by Google or Telegram. From Google we also receive your email address; it is never shown publicly.
• If you post: what you wrote, the postcode area (never the full postcode), and the contact details you chose to share.
• If you vote on a listing: a one-way hash of your IP address, rotated daily, purely to stop the same person voting twice. It cannot be turned back into an IP address and we can't use it to track you between days.

What we don't do

• No advertising trackers, no analytics scripts, no third-party cookies.
• We never sell or share your data.
• Contact details are never written into the page, so scrapers can't harvest them.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can see, correct or delete what we hold. The Delete my account button does this immediately and permanently — your account, your listings, your saved items and your alerts all go.

Who holds your data, and how to reach us

The data controller is the individual who runs Everything Luton, based in Luton, United Kingdom. There is no company behind it. Use the contact form for any request about your data, including access, correction, deletion or a complaint — it reaches the controller directly.

If you are not satisfied with the response you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.

Cookies

Two, both strictly necessary: one keeps you signed in, one is a random id that stops duplicate votes. No consent banner, because we set nothing that would need one.
